ComedyAccidents "Intervention" tour continues to trek right along with a very special and top secret unpublished show at the Chicago Theater on 4/20.

"It sold out so fast, we removed all ads and mentions for the show from everywhere," said Kellan Graham the shows promoter. "We asked the Chicago Theater to remove us from the marquee, and act like they don’t know the show is happening, if anybody calls to inquire they are instructed to play dumb.  It’s the performance art advertising technique I crafted during my time in Texas."

The Chicago Theater couldn’t be reached for comment about the show, although it’s been a weird April for the Theater in general with Glen Beck, Charlie Sheen, and ComedyAccident all booked in the same month.  “Our booking agent got drunk one night,” said Gil Grabowski a theater insider, “but April Showers do bring May flowers.”

"Truthfully, I don't really care," Bob Moran a fan said of the private show which he did not get a ticket to. "I'm going to go in. I'm going to see it for myself. This will be the most historic night in theater history, since the Lincoln assassination!"

“I don’t know about the show, and I don’t care,” said an angry ComedyAccident member Al Larcher as he exited the Chicago Theater from the performer’s back door, “I left my hat here after the Charlie Sheen Show, and that’s what I’m doing here now, just getting my hat back.  You understand a thousand people were found dead today on the Ivory Coast brutally murdered?  A serial killer is on the loose in New York, Japan is still shaking, 2012 is looming over us all; and this is what you want to chat about??  Some silly show that doesn’t exist”

Or does it?

Signs point to yes,” said the Magic 8 ball when first shook up by the odd question, “Reply hazy, try again.”

Still no word if legendary stage actor James Farrell (of past hits such as ART and Bears Accident) will be able to perform with the assemble cast of ComedyAccident after breaking his leg in ten places in an unspoken and bizarre comedy accident of his own at Tahiti whore house in Tucson.

“We feel for James,” Phillip Groves the shows technical director said, “But the show must go on.”

If it’s true this is the first and last of the ComedyAccident tour happening in large venues, as the group plans to return to its roots in a very special engagement at the Apollo Theater Studio, Saturday nights, starting May 21st and running for 6 weeks for the modest price of 15 dollars.

"We wanted to give back to our fans," said cast member Patrick Small and one half of the musical duo Shrimp & Grits, "We love the big shows, and the big lights, but nothing feels better then performing for 50 of our closest fans in a tight space."

“The tighter the better,” said one of the founding members of the group Casey Graham, “that’s the way I like it.  Right in their face -- up close and personal.”

Evidently, mum is the word on the Chicago Theater show, as Clark Lorensen and Erick Syversen refused to mention the show at all when spotted at Club 162’s stand up competition Thursday nights hosted by the group.

“Allllllright Mr. Reporter man,” Clark Lorensen announced, “I don’t know about this show you are talking about but what I do know is we have a Podcast Radio show recorded LIVE every Sunday night at Hi-Tops Bar located at Lincoln and Montana starting at 7pm!!!  Comedians, topical talk, games, drinking, strange guests, and this week a very special visit from Blackhawks National Anthem singer and Chicago icon Jim Cornelison!!!”

“You can hear the podcast radio show on our website but I don’t know about this Chicago Theater show,I know what I’ll be doing on 4/20,” said Erick Syversen, “It is a very special day -- but I’m not sure about this show you keep talking about.”

With no tickets available to the Chicago Theater show left or if at all, and no mention of it anywhere, some are starting to wonder who is ComedyAccident and what the hell is going on with them.  Time will tell.
