James Farrell - Actor/Writer/Improviser James is happy to be involved with ComedyAccident. Being the eldest of the members has taught him some finer points about being a writer and performer. First, patience. You need an endless supply of it to simply mute the sometimes overpowering temptation to hurt people, both physically and verbally. Second, compromise. Not every individual walking around has become keenly adept at lowering their personal standards as myself, but god-willing, I will continue to bargain, beg, and plead the others to try and see that there is an intelligent way to communicate humorous concepts to others without your pants falling down. Finally, optimism. Life is good. I, myself think about death alot mostly my own, but the guys have steered me clear of my constant, laser-focused self -loathing. Thanks ComedyAccident! You win. Holy warriors for the working class! James struggled in miserable Pennsylvania community theater before moving to Chicago. He has studied at both Second City and ImprovOlympic. He aslo has been involved with local group Free Associates and Citadel Theater company. |

Casey Graham - Actor/Writer/Improviser Some would say Casey Graham began his comedic career right around the same time he discovered that a large vocabulary and a short stature could carry a man a long way in this synical world. Others, of course, would disagree. His first taste of real stage presence on a comedic level was unleashed at Chicago's very own Second City. A graduate of Second City's Conservatory and co-founder of "Comedy Accident", Casey has decided that he could better suit his vast audience by aiming his skills torward the charitable side of life. He recently started the Making America Laugh foundation, in which he travels across America stopping at a different venue each night to deliver one solo joke. (All proceeds are donated to Comedy Accident.) The laughs are few and donations fewer, however, he is a man os virtue. Keeping his nose to the stone grinder, he pushes for a less dim tomorrow. Is any of what you just read true? I leave the decision up to you. Thanks again for reading. |

Alfred Ferdinand Larcher III - Actor/Writer/Improviser Aka: Big Al, Aldo, Alvis, A.L., Al, Al “Your Pal”, and El Cabrito Muy Grande. Isn’t a bio nothing more then megalomantic exercise for the writer, and a voyeuristic indulgence for the reader?? Does it matter where I went to school, or what I like to do when the door is closed? Really I’m not that interesting. Plus, Facebook covers all that crap, and everybody has one of those damn things diminishing their appeal. So now, one and all from the milk man to the candidates for the office of President of the United States have a bio on their myspace page. BTW, Here is the link to Facebook.com/al.larcher. If you must know, I have been everywhere from the White House, the whore house, the out house, and even the poor house a time or two. I enjoy older country music (Jennings, Haggard, Cash, Kristofferson, Axton); my favorite book is “Confederacy of Dunces” by John Kennedy Toole; my favorite authors are Kinky Friedman, Mike Royko, and Will Rogers; and I’m the asshole who still enjoys reality television. My favorite day of the week is Thursday. Now you can lay that Friday/Saturday shit on me all you want, but to me anticipation is better then pay off, so Thursday it is. Oh, but during football season Sunday is my favorite day but only if the Bears win. If they lose and I’m drunk at the bar listening to Buffett or Bob Segar then that’s ok too. So, to review from September through January (except during the bye week or Monday night games) Sunday is the best day. Now from January 15th through September 1st, it’s Thursday’s. Here’s a delightful story about me, Elvis Presley died August 16th, 1977. I was born August 12th, 1979 meaning I was born two years and four days after Elvis died. Now you are probably wondering why that matters, and why you’re still reading this horrible bio. According to Leon Zundinger’s book, ‘Reincarnation of Magicians, Martyrs, and Madmen’ it takes two years and four days to reincarnate a human. So truth is I’m Elvis stuck in a new body that isn’t very good at singing. It’s horrible!! Also the movie Patch Adams makes me cry every time the damn cancer kids show up at Patch’s trial with the red noses on. OH MAN, THAT’S CINAMA! If Bruce Willis was in every movie the world would be a better place. I’m just stating the facts here folks after all it is my bio and you’re still reading it. Let’s see, I hate beer but love booze! Give me a Jack and a Diet and I’m putting the Al in al-coholic! I also enjoy fruity drinks... the kind of stuff Jimmy Buffett sings about as they make me giddy. Most people try to avoid giddy, but not me. I jump right in!! Giddy-up! That’s all for now. You are a powerful and attractive person for reading this, and a damn fine American. Keep on keeping on and remember the road goes on forever and the party never ends. |

Patrick Small - Actor/Writer/Improviser Patrick is amazed by the talent that surrounds him… simply amazed. Often wondering how such a fine group of actors, writers, and improvisers came together, he is proud to be one of the founding members of ComedyAccident. Growing up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, comedy has always been a large part of his life. Patrick has trained and performed at iO Chicago and Second City Chicago, but what gets him most excited is ComedyAccident's promising future. He thanks his family, friends, and teachers for preparing him for the opportunity to pursue comedy as a profession. |

Phillip Groves - Sound/Lights/Stage Manager From a young age Phillip was intrigued with sound. Coming from a long line of telecommunication engineers, Phillip was destined to tinker with electronics. He has spent the past seven years working hands on with electronic music, studying the art of producing and djing. As part of The Nanners Project (http://www.myspace.com/thenannersproject), Phillip spends many hours already working behind a mixer and computer screen, so the jump into a sound booth wasn’t a hard stretch for him. After working with Clark and Patrick on two previous shows, Phillip couldn’t resist the urge to jump on-board for another. Phillip is currently learning a few new programs (Ableton Live, Final Cut) which he hopes in the next few months he can include in Comedy Accident. “I find the group gives me a certain role behind the scenes that not only adds another element of artistic freedom and expression in my life, but also a constant challenge yet once more to find my own personal perfection with sound.” |
